What does the Beadle Office do?

The Beadles Office takes care of the academic rituals. The office supervises the administrative PhD trajectory on behalf of the rector magnificus of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It organises and prepares academic ceremonies such as PhD conferrals, inaugural and valedictory speeches, the opening of the academic year and the celebration of the Dies Natalis.
