The objective is to support incoming and future Indonesian PhD students, preparing them for their PhD trajectories at a Dutch university.
The 2024 edition will run between 10-15 June. It comprises of four modules: Academic English Writing, Academic Competencies, Academic Presenting and Dutch Crash Course. With this intensive one-week programme, PhD students will be equipped with the necessary research, academic writing and presenting skills to manage challenges commonly encountered in a PhD trajectory. Furthermore, the programme makes the transition to the Netherlands easier and faster thanks to the practical insights provided by Indonesian PhD alumni on ‘life in the Netherlands’, the Dutch culture and the Dutch academic system.
The programme is open to first-year Indonesian PhD students who have been selected for a doctorate programme in the Netherlands and to prospective PhD students who intend to do a PhD in the Netherlands. The opening date for application is 1 March 2024. Applications will close on 15 May 2024.
