Integrative Bioinformatics

By Prof. Jaap Heringa

The research mission of the Center for Integrative Bioinformatics (IBIVU) is building understanding of genome-wide mechanistic behavior of cells at all network layers. This is done by developing computational analysis and modeling methods to mine and understand data coming from high-throughput measurements. Integrating such information may involve various layers of genomics data: from DNA sequence data via molecules and cells to patients. The approach also links experimental design and computational analysis.
