In this workshop, the researchers will share scientific insights on leadership and charisma in a fun way by collaborating with an impro-trainer. They will give short explanations to share knowledge and research findings (e.g., how using leadership tactics--like metaphors--increase perceived charisma) and use impro-exercises to let participants apply these insights (e.g., short improvised scenes or monologues in which they are required to use these tactics).
Wendy Anders is Assistant Professor in Organizational Psychology. The project, together with being highly interdisciplinary (it involves a collaboration with the School of Business and Economics at the VU and CP Impro, a theatre and training group), also offers a training to individuals who may not have the financial means to participate otherwise.
