Welcome to the ESG Hub: the knowledge platform within our IT auditing course that focuses on the impact of IT auditing on ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance).

In this hub, you will find papers with current insights and real-life examples showing how IT auditors can shape responsible and sustainable business practices. The ESG Hub aims to demonstrate how technology can create value within ESG objectives beyond compliance.

The ESG Hub is led by Joanne Schepers MSc RE and Lisan Andersen MSc. With different backgrounds combining ESG and IT, they aim to gather insights into how IT (auditors) can contribute to sustainability.

The paper explores how Digital Product Passports (DPPs) can help translate ESG ambitions into measurable action by improving transparency in global supply chains. It highlights the role of technology, governance, regulation and particularly the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) in accelerating the adoption of DPPs and enabling organizations to move from sustainability narratives to data-driven ESG execution.
