Diana Bachour

Diana Bachour is an experienced visual artist, graphic artist, visual art teacher and illustrator with a passion for art education and integration projects. She earned a master’s degree in art education from the Amsterdam School of the Arts, where she explored the intersection of cultural baggage and active growth in a dynamic society. Diana’s academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and printing techniques at Damascus University, followed by a master’s degree in graphic arts and Islamic art at Makerere University.

Throughout her studies, Diana discovered different aspects of herself, developing into a leader in art education projects, a program maker and an empirical researcher. She discovered that her acquired knowledge could be used to support the growth and prosperity of others. Remarkably, Diana was privileged to experience integration through arts education, which became a driving force behind her dedication to encouraging others to embrace this flavour of arts education during their quest in the Netherlands.
