“Experiences like these show students how international law operates in practice,” says assistant professor Younous Arbaoui of the Amsterdam Centre for Migration and Refugee Law. “That is exactly why our Master’s in International Migration and Refugee Law places such a strong emphasis on clinical legal education. Students do not just learn about international law, they actively engage with it.”
The students are currently preparing a reflection report on what they learned during the study visits. More insights and updates on upcoming activities will soon be shared on the Migration Law Clinic website.
