Renewed pension scheme requires attention from those aged 40+

ABP will transfer to the new pension scheme on 1 January 2027.

Employees aged 40 and over will face a shortfall in pension accrual under the new scheme. For this reason, the Future Pensions Act stipulates that this shortfall will be compensated for this group by the pension providers. However, if you resign before 1 January 2027 or reduce your working hours in 2026, this may affect this compensation. Read more about this on the page Pension information.
