Mentoring programme professionals operations

In about 5 conversations they will focus on the development question of the mentee. These may relate, for example, to personal and professional development or to directing their career.
Mentoring programme talented scientists
In this programme Dutch and English postdocs and assistant professors are matched with a professor or associate professor from a different faculty. Over the course of a year, they meet around five times to discuss finding one’s way in the (academic) world and professional development in the broadest sense of the term.
Mentees are motivated and have a clear development question. For the mentors, seniority, motivation and coaching skills are important. All participants should be willing to dedicate approximately 10 hours to the programme over the year.
The faculties will decide whether to participate in the programme or not. Faculties have until Monday, 15 September to select and nominate their mentors and mentees. The time investment is approx. 10 hours (workshop, intake interview (mentee) and five 1.5 hours meetings).
Divisions and faculties make their own decisions about participating in the programmes. Until Monday, 14 September, they can nominate their mentors and mentees.
Are you interested in participating as a mentee? Please contact the HR Advisor of your division or faculty or the head of your department. The final selection of participants is made by the faculty.
