On Monday, 15 June, from 15:00 to 16:00, Rosa Muijderman will present her research on understanding the complex network of factors that influence hospital nurse retention, followed by a discussion.
With the growing demand for healthcare services, retaining a sufficient nursing workforce is a critical challenge. While many factors affecting nurse retention have been identified, they form a highly interconnected system whose behaviour is not yet fully understood. Rosa’s research explores methods for modelling and analysing this complex network to gain deeper insights into how its components interact.
In the longer term, this work aims to support the development of simulations that can replicate the effects of changes within the network. Such tools could provide valuable evidence for policymakers when evaluating and selecting intervention strategies to improve nurse retention.
You are warmly invited to attend the presentation in person at the VU Medical Faculty, room C073.
We look forward to welcoming you.
