To minimize food waste, we’re making a conscious decision to organize our catering service in a more streamlined and forward-thinking way. Starting 1 July, we’ll offer two types of packages. Catering for these packages can be delivered to designated locations.
- Meeting Packages
For scheduled meetings in the specially designated meeting or event rooms, we offer our meeting package. Contrary to previous announcements, meeting packages can also be ordered for smaller groups (<10 people), preferably with delivery between 11:30 and 14:00. Please make sure you have reserved this room in advance. You cannot order lunch at your own workstation or your own meeting location. - Living Room Packages in the Pantries
For informal groups of 10 or more people, we’re introducing the Living Room Packages. You do not need to reserve a space in advance for orders in these specific areas. - Coffee and tea
Coffee and tea pots are available exclusively for groups larger than 15 people. For gatherings of up to 15 people, please use the regular coffee machine.
New: Pickup is now also available!
For orders of up to 15 people, we’re introducing the new option to pick up both the living room and meeting packages yourself:
- Pickup location
Room number HG KC-30 (the coffee kitchen near the entrance to the Main Building Restaurant). - Vouchers via Planon
The familiar option to order vouchers via Planon remains available. From now on, you can easily pick up these vouchers at this central pickup location. - Packaging
When picking up your packages, we use eco-friendly disposable items that fully comply with current SUP legislation. This way, we keep the pickup process both easy and sustainable.
With this targeted approach, we’re working together to ensure a more sustainable future in the office with less waste.

- Exceptions
Are you facing a unique situation that truly doesn’t fit within the standard options? In very exceptional cases, you can contact Vitam directly at vu.hg@vitam.nl. To ensure compliance with contractual agreements and logistical feasibility, these requests must be kept to an absolute minimum. All submitted exceptions will be periodically evaluated and discussed with FCO Contract Management.
