Eleonora Andreotti, a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento, is cycling all the way from Italy to Amsterdam. Her final destination is the VU Mathematics Department, where she will be visiting her collaborator Raffaella Mulas to work on spectral theory of graphs and hypergraphs.
Her journey began one week ago and will continue for another week before she reaches Amsterdam. By the time she arrives, Eleonora will have cycled approximately 1,500 kilometres across Europe, from the Alps to the flat landscapes of the Netherlands.
