How does it work?
Interested in acquiring one or more tables or chairs? Come have a look, pick the items you want and reserve them. You will receive a release form from us for the reserved furniture. You can collect your furniture on the indicated days.

How do I collect my furniture?
You can collect your furniture from BL1085 (W&N main entrance) by the red stairs, using the stairs or lift. Do you have a car or van? You can also come pick up your furniture by car. Park your vehicle behind Starthub on the VU campus. You will need to present your release form to be allowed to park here. You can park for a maximum of one hour. See map
Does the furniture belong to VU Amsterdam or is it mine now?
Once an item of furniture has been collected, it becomes the property of the person who picked it up and received a release form for this purpose; it no longer belongs to VU Amsterdam.
Why am I receiving a release form and what is it for?
The release form serves as proof that the furniture no longer belongs to VU Amsterdam, but has become the property of the person who came to collect it. The release form is also your proof of reservation. Additionally, you will need to show this form to be able to park on campus to collect your items.
What if I don’t want the furniture after all?
VU Amsterdam will not take back any furniture once it has been collected. You will need to find a way to dispose of your unwanted items yourself.
Are there any other tables or chairs available besides those currently on offer?
No, the more than 80 tables and chairs currently on offer are all that’s available. This is it.
