Final deadline for new course proposals for summer school 2027

Reminder for all VU teachers: proposals to teach a new summer school course must be received by 7 September

VU Amsterdam Summer School 2027 will take place between 3 and 31 July 2027 and serves as an excellent opportunity for teaching staff to:

  • Grow the international profile of your department and/or field of study
  • Invite or strengthen collaborations with other universities
  • Generate additional income
  • Design a course specifically in your own field of interest/research and experiment with innovative teaching methods
  • Work with a highly motivated and diverse group of students
  • Offer current VU students an exciting study opportunity and help them avoid summer learning loss
  • Attract more master's applications.

All VU academic staff are eligible to submit a proposal. For all information (such as framework, financial model, timeline, forms of course proposal), download the Call for Course Proposals.
