The INZS is a landmark gathering that brings together policymakers, corporate leaders, investors, academics, and sustainability practitioners to exchange ideas, develop actionable strategies, and accelerate pathways toward net zero emissions. The summit was jointly organised by the International Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility (IICSR), the Management and Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council, and the Goa Chamber of Commerce.
The programme featured an academic colloquium alongside expert panels addressing key sustainability challenges, including climate taxonomies and net-zero industrial roadmaps. Daniel contributed to the Carbon Accounting and Reporting panel, where he shared insights on the global regulation of carbon markets and EU climate policy, highlighting their implications for partner and trading countries.
The event marked an important first step toward a longer-term collaboration between Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the International Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility. IICSR serves as a leading knowledge hub and education institution dedicated to advancing sustainability, environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in India and globally.
