From semester 2 of the 2026-2027 academic year, lecturers will be able to use a new collaborative classroom in the NU building. The room is designed for active learning and equipped with easy-to-use technology. This allows students to work together digitally in groups and easily share their results plenary with the whole class.
The collaborative classroom will be located in room NU03B-36 and can accommodate 42 students, divided across 7 group tables. Each group will have its own screen with a pull-out whiteboard. Groups can work using their own laptop. Presentations can easily be shared with the whole class, either via a cable or through the internet (e.g. with Microsoft Teams).
The room can be booked in consultation with the academic schedulers. Outside teaching hours, the room will be used as a collaborative work and study space.
