19 March 2026
On Wednesday evening, 11 March, the VU Diversity Office and SOZ, in collaboration with the student organisations SV Anatolia, KOMPAS, ESN VU and FAM, organised an Iftar in the Foyer of the VU’s main building. More than 200 people gathered to break their fast together.

This Iftar is part of the Bridging Success programme run by the VU Diversity Office. The Bridging Success programme connects people from different backgrounds at the VU, raises awareness of cultural diversity, and inspires and supports student councils to organise activities related to cultural diversity.

Ad Valvas was also there and wrote the following article about it (in Dutch).

For questions about Bridging Success, please contact: Amu Shrestha (Diversity Officer Campus & Community).
