This Grant was created to encourage the development of novel and innovative teaching approaches within our faculty, with a specific focus on supporting our junior lecturers in developing and implementing their ideas.
Ten projects selected
In 2025, two application rounds were organised: a first round exclusively for junior lecturers, followed by a second round open to all teachers of our faculty. The first round resulted in 8 applications, of which 5 projects were awarded funding. The second round attracted 16 proposals, again leading to the selection of 5 projects. All winners received a grant ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 euros.
Creativity and diversity of the Faculty of Science
Below are the ten projects that have been awarded funding and will be executed in the coming year. Together, they highlight the creativity and diversity of ideas within our faculty: ranging from a board game designed to teach students about research methodology, to improvements in laboratory education and the use of theatre techniques to enhance presentation skills. We wish all winners good luck in their endeavours!
