What pops into your head when you think of university libraries? Dusty shelves, stacks of outdated books, a last-minute study spot for students? Linde Voorend, project leader for education at VU Amsterdam’s University Library, is out to change that perception.

Invited to join the 30 Under 30 programme at the OEB Global Conference in Berlin, Voorend represented a group of innovative young professionals “shaking up education and technology with fresh perspectives and bold ideas.”

In this interview, she shares what the conference was like, the debates that got her thinking, and her vision for the future of learning.
