From January 1st 2025, VU Amsterdam will participate in a nationwide Open Access agreement with publisher PLOS.
This agreement covers publication costs (APCs) for Open Access publishing in seven of the publisher's journals, including PLOS ONE. Research funders NWO and ZonMW also contribute financially.
You can make use of the agreement if you are currently affiliated to the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam or the Amsterdam UMC (location VUmc) and submit the article under this affiliation. The agreement is effective from 1 January 2025 and runs for two years.
The agreement covers seven journals, namely PLOS ONE, PLOS Complex Systems, PLOS Computational Biology, PLOS Digital Health, PLOS Genetics, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases and PLOS Pathogens.
