They have worked hard in recent years on their integration path, including Dutch, English, study skills and professional knowledge. They are now ready for the next step: a bachelor's or master's degree, or preparation for BIG registration. Forty-eight students from VU Amsterdam went on to further studies at wo, hbo or mbo institutions. We are proud of our participants and happy that, together with the municipalities, we can offer these young people a solid basis for studying and working in the Netherlands. This is not only important for them, but for our entire society. After receiving the diploma and congratulations, each graduate received a bunch of flowers from the municipality of Amsterdam. Finally, we waved goodbye to 'our' young people with a toast to their promising future.
About the TSA
The Taalschakeltraject is provided by HvA and VU Amsterdam (VU-NT2 and VASVU) on behalf of the municipality of Amsterdam and surrounding municipalities. It is part of the Education Route within the Civic Integration Act: a programme of about two years that prepares status holders for further education. Would you like to know more?
