Based on signals from faculties about the length and usefulness of the questionnaire, the Expert Group on Quality Assurance Support in Education has submitted a proposal to the Steering Committee on Educational Quality (STOK in Dutch) with three adjustments:
- Shortening the questionnaire by making less relevant questions optional, reducing the number of mandatory core questions from 26 to 16.
- Rewording some questions to make them clearer.
- Allowing faculties more flexibility to adapt open questions to their own educational context.
STOK has approved these changes. The revised question set will soon be implemented in Evalytics and will become the new standard starting in the upcoming academic year. We expect this change will better align course evaluations with the needs of lecturers and study programmes.
