Led by dr. Jorim Tielbeek, the course challenges participants to create concrete innovations, from redesigning individual courses to overhauling an entire minor. “What we do is ask students: if you had the chance to redesign your own education, what would it look like? Then we help students actually achieve these redesigns,” explains Tielbeek. “For lecturers, it is also an opportunity to bring in their own cases and collaborate with students on new approaches to teaching and learning.”
The result: a dynamic exchange of ideas that boosts both content and pedagogy. Organised in collaboration with the Aurora Universities Network, Rebuilding Education prepares higher education for the future by making it more sustainable, innovative, and responsive.
