VU Amsterdam has been experiencing nuisance of mice for some time now. We are closely monitoring this and doing everything we can to keep it under control.
Due to the demolition of the Mathematics and Physics building, we expect mice to migrate to other buildings.
Therefore, you may see (more) mice in other buildings. We ask everyone to report the presence of mice to the FCO Front Office so we can actively deploy our pest control efforts appropriately.
Mice are attracted by food scraps and nesting materials (anything gnawable). Therefore, we urgently request that you do not leave any food scraps or nesting materials lying around and that you store food in a mouse-proof place (refrigerator or lockable container).
By working together, we can control the nuisance of mice. Thank you for your cooperation!
