Due to strikes, there will regularly be no or limited train services in the coming period. If you plan to travel to VU by train, please take the strikes into account and check the NS travel planner before you set off.
Unions have announced more regional strikes for the coming period. Given current developments it is uncertain what the impact of these will be.
All educational activities at VU Amsterdam will continue as scheduled. In some cases, online or hybrid alternatives are offered. For this, check Canvas
Please allow for potential travel disruptions and plan to depart early. If possible, we recommend working from home on days when your region is affected by the work stoppages. For those travelling to campus, please check the NS Travel Planner shortly before departure or consider alternative transport options.
