How can you truly connect students with complex themes? Sometimes it helps to put something physical in their hands. That’s what happened in a workshop led by heritage curator Eline Bos and university historian Ab Flipse.

Students explored original VU Amsterdam archival materials to reflect on academic freedom. The sensory experience sparked surprising conversations and fresh perspectives.

Bring your own lectures to life with physical objects from the UB collection! From historical artefacts to a 3D-printed brain, make your theory tangible and increase student engagement.
