Four students from the Master’s programme in International Migration and Refugee Law will, over the coming months, support the CMW’s work on several thematic priorities. Their research will contribute to areas such as the rights of migrants with disabilities, the use of global migration data in human rights monitoring, the implications of artificial intelligence for the rights of migrant workers, and the issue of enforced disappearances.
Through this programme, participating students gain practical experience in global migration law and the functioning of UN treaty bodies, while directly contributing to the CMW’s mandate to protect the rights of migrant workers and their families.
The ACMRL looks forward to following the students’ contributions and to continuing this meaningful partnership.
We extend our thanks to the VU Law Academy, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers for their support of the programme.
