Thanks to the VU Connects Societal Impact Prize, VU Amsterdam is launching a unique project where 10 VU students will mentor 60 primary school pupils from grades 7 and 8 in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
Through the VU Buurt Bijles project, VU students will receive a Start2Teach training and gain valuable teaching experience. Together with Stichting WIJs, they ensure these pupils receive free tutoring.
