On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, alumni from all FSH study programmes came together for an interactive programme on (dis)information.
After the opening by Gregor Halff, Tilo Hartmann, Ivar Vermeulen, and Ellen Droog gave lectures on deepfakes, misleading 3D videos, and why disinformation sticks. Art historian Klazina Botke spoke about art forgeries. Afterwards, philosopher Jeroen de Ridder and religious studies scholar Yusuf Çelik engaged in a discussion moderated by Diederik Oostdijk. The afternoon ended on a festive note with a VU Amsterdam quiz and a shared meal.
