Iannuzzi will further shape the Research portfolio in the Faculty Board in a period in which the development of a research vision and strategy 2026-2030 and collaboration to raise research funding are central to strengthening the scientific, societal and financial position of the Faculty.

Davide is currently the VU’s Chief Impact Officer, responsible for strengthening the societal, economic and scientific impact of research. Within our faculty, he previously served as Director of Valorisation and was founder and director of the Demonstrator Lab innovation platform.
Since 2013, Davide has been a Professor in the Department of Physics, with a research background in experimental physics.

In his new role, Davide will focus on strengthening the faculty’s research profile, promoting inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration, and creating an inspiring and future-proof research environment for scholars at all career stages.
