The Athena Institute is proud to announce the launch of the National Expertise Centre for TRansdisciplinary Work (NECTR) in collaboration with 11 founding organisations

NECTR, an initiative aimed at addressing complex societal challenges through collaborative and innovative approaches, will bring together diverse perspectives and expertise to strengthen transdisciplinary capacities in order to foster sustainable transitions and impactful solutions. The expertise centre is established by 11 inter- and transdisciplinary organisations: CUCo, TNO, Drift, NWO, Rathenau, Athena Institute at VU, Het Groen Brein, RVO, TU Delft, Convergence, SIA, and anyone interested in transdisciplinary work is welcome to join!

Athena's director Jacqueline Broerse says,
"It is our hope that by integrating diverse knowledge and perspectives we achieve deeper understandings of, and more innovative insights into the complex issues of our time. We welcome others to join this collaborative platform, where we together we will amplify the reach and impact of transdisciplinary work and guide the next generations of transdisciplinary researchers and practitioners."
