Following a successful first VU Mother Language Day we are pleased to welcome you to the second VU Mother Language Day on Thursday, 13 February 2025.
What can we learn from each other's languages? How do we handle the diversity in the language variants we speak? We are keen to exchange experiences on these topics. At VU Amsterdam, we see diversity, including in language, as an enriching attribute of our community.
Moreover, we have something to celebrate! On this day, we will launch the MOOC Pronunciation in Dutch. This is an open course we have developed at VU Amsterdam, which contributes to the acceptance of pronunciation variants of the Dutch language.
