4 April 2024
The VU ART SCIENCE gallery is pleased to invite you to the opening of its new exhibition Let's Work! on Thursday, April 11, 2024, 5-7 PM.

Let's Work! explores the several aspects of work in an exhibition and a series of dialogues. The exhibition features work by Jorrit Paaijmans, Nicoline van Harskamp, Ton Kruse - Faculty of In-humanities, and Rob Voerman & Stichting Kaikoesie.

To start the festivities Sarah Westheim, vice chair of the University Student Council, will briefly give her perspective on the theme of work, especially as it relates to the future we are moving towards.

The exhibition will then be opened with a performance by Wayamu Woreyan, a group of dancers and singers of indigenous women from Suriname, and an oral story on work by Stichting Kaikoesie. Stichting Kaikoesie is a nonprofit organization promoting the interests of the indigenous people of Marowijne, Suriname.
