Third Humanities Career Night: record number of students and alumni

Share
3 June 2024
It was beautiful (beach) weather, but that did not stop Humanities students from visiting the annual Humanities Career Night. No fewer than 70 students prepared for their future with workshops, personal coaching and Alumni Talks.

The evening was opened by Dean René van Woudenberg who outlined how 5 Philosophy alumni took 5 different routes, and all started interesting careers. After the workshop round, students, speakers and alumni gathered in the Social Room for the dinner (and networking!) break. In the Alumni Talks, former students then inspired with their own career stories; successes and blunders were shared and gave the students insights to discuss during drinks.

The Humanities Career Night was organized by FGW Career Services and the Faculty Student Council. Contact: Marie Kross via careerservices.humanities@vu.nl
