"Students arrive at new insights on their own through non-directive coaching"

24 April 2024
At the FSW Thesis Lab, student coaches help peers using a non-directive approach, a method that is also used successfully at other writing centres throughout the Netherlands. Megan van der Vorst studied Culture, Organization and Management (COM), was nominated for the VU Thesis Award and now works at VU as a researcher. As one of the student coaches in 2023, Megan shared with us her thoughts about her experiences, as well as what coaching work has meant for her own thesis.
