Positive assessment research master Societal Resilience

Share
21 March 2024
Students rate the research master's program Societal Resilience at the VU University Amsterdam as above average. This can be read in the 2024 Choice Guide, which was published on Thursday, March 21. In the Selection Guide, master's students annually assess their courses on content, teachers, testing, career preparation and atmosphere.

The Societal Resilience research master scores above average on the components 'content', 'teachers', 'testing' and 'atmosphere'. Saartje Tack, Coordinator of the research master: “With our small-scale program, we offer students a learning environment in which they have intensive contact with teachers, and with which we can also stimulate community building among students. In addition, it is a challenging program that is socially involved and relevant to the world of today and tomorrow. It's fantastic to see that our students appreciate this!”

From September 2024, the research master will continue under the name “Social sciences for a digital society”. However, the content remains the same.

Keuzegids Masters
Each year, the Keuzegids Masters compares all accredited Master's programmes at Dutch universities. The assessments in the guide are compiled in part from student opinions and accreditation data using information from the National Student Survey and the National Alumni Survey. These assessments help enable prospective students to make an informed choice of about their Master's programme.
