Investigation into political integrity scandals (affaires): the PI-Index

Share
3 September 2024
Since 2013, an annual inventory has been made of which Dutch politicians end up in what kind of integrity affair.

Every year, the data from the Political Integrity Index leads to the necessary media attention, on fascinating questions. How many affairs, is the number increasing, which parties are (mainly) involved, what kind of violations?

Curious about the scientific publications?

The Political Integrity Index is compiled annually by emeritus professor of public administration Leo Huberts (VU), professor of business ethics Muel Kaptein (EUR) and investigative journalist Bart de Koning (Volkskrant). Meanwhile, associate professor of public administration Leonie Heres (VU) is also part of the team.
