16 December 2024
Our Amsterdam Centre for Migration and Refugee Law hosted an interesting guest lecture by Jan van Breda (judge) and Francien de Lange (lawyer) from the Council of State.

The lecture, held at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, focused on the obligation to state reasons under Article 91(2) VW and explored the potential implications of the Kubera judgment for its future application.

In addition to their legal analysis, the speakers shared insights into their work at the Council of State, giving students a unique perspective on this Institution. It was a super interesting lecture and the students were very enthousiastic afterwards!

Many thanks to Jan van Breda and Francien de Lange for an inspiring and interesting session!
