"Seven students participated in the poster competition, of which 4 presented in the auditorium of the O2 building. At this event, students from the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences showcase their final projects through posters to a large audience. This mirrors the way scientists present their work at conferences, making the poster event a valuable learning experience for the students. The best poster has the chance to win the poster prize.
What could the students win? A certificate and the opportunity to attend a conference day at either CHAINS or FIGON, two major pharmaceutical-related conferences. This year, the fortunate winner of the poster prize is Wietse Abelmann! Wietse completed an internship with the Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry group under the guidance of Dr. Maikel Wijtmans and Andrea van de Stolpe. Wietse mentioned the following about winning the poster prize: "It was a great experience to practice with the format of a scientific (poster) fair, and of course, it is an honor to receive the poster prize!"
