CICJ Research Lab starts with 10 research interns

Ten students from the MSc International Crimes, Conflict & Criminology have been selected to participate in CICJ Research Lab. Through the research lab, CICJ researchers offer students a research internship in their ongoing research projects.

The students who will be working on seven different projects are:

  • Filip Velichkovski and Sára Helštýnová (Corporations and international crimes, Wim Huisman & Annika van Baar)
  • Marthe Heringa (Corporations, human rights and environmental degradation: Business perspectives on corporate accountability, Annika van Baar)
  • Ambika Ria Ramachandran (Climate change activism or terrorism? (Joris van Wijk & Jasper de Bie)
  • Raechel Benjamin (Citizenship revocation in the Netherlands: A comparative case law analysis, Maarten Bolhuis)
  • Meriam Sarah Ezzi and Bridget ter Heide (Intimidation and harassment of witnesses during testimony before international criminal courts and tribunals, Suzanne Schot)
  • Cecília Pazinato Marcon and Nikki Verkerk (Compensation schemes for environmental damage caused by conflicts, Bogdana Cherniavska & Wim Huisman)
  • Dafne Mall (Emotions, Ethics and Mass Atrocities, Maartje Weerdesteijn)
