Campus square: realisation Tiny Forest

Share
4 June 2024
The renewal of the campus square is going according to plan. Phase 2 will be completed after the Déjà VU festival, 13 June. With the realisation of phase 2, a large part of the campus square becomes available again.

Thus, the grassy areas are accessible again: let's picnic! You can also play basketball again.

There is a lot of grass now; additional greenery will be placed in a few places. The wait is for the planting season.

The next phase is the realisation of the Tiny Forest. Trees that are now behind the W&N building will be relocated. Then comes the final phase, repaving the road across the campus. Most of this work will be completed this autumn. The last stretch of the road will be repaved in early 2025. This will wait until the move out to the VU Research Building is complete.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
