Dr Arno Förster has been awarded the Dick Stufkens prize for the best dissertation at HRSMC with his thesis.
The thesis is entitled: "Many-body perturbaon theory with Slater type orbitals." Arno's research deals with modelling molecules and materials at a fundamental quantum chemical level. Förster received his PhD cum laude from Prof Luuk Visscher at VU University Amsterdam on 9 December 2022.
