Questions on open educational resources?
Wednesday the 8th of March, the University Library organizes a full day walk-in for lecturers to stop by with all kinds of questions, ideas and remarks surrounding open educational resources. Do you want to share or store your knowledge clips for example? Or have you developed learning materials together with colleagues that you want to make available more broadly? The entire day, there will be people In the VU Education lab (NU 1A-25) to help you get set up or to simply spar with you.
Open textbooks
Specifically interested in creating open textbooks, like this example (in Dutch), or an e-learning? Attend the session The possibilities of Wikiwijs and the first steps to making your own interactive textbook that will take place from 12:00 – 13:00h, again in the VU Education lab. Do we see you there? Of course, you are also more than welcome to stop by another time during the day to talk about open textbooks.
Open science
Open educational resources are a growing component of Open Science and Open Education. Creating, using, and sharing open educational materials, to stimulate exchange between lecturers, programs and universities has a high priority, also at the VU. The Open Education Week is an initiative of Open Education Global.
