Mátyás Bittenbinder wins Best Oral Communication award

13 December 2023
Mátyás Bittenbinder won the "Best Oral Communication Award" with his presentation, titled "Bloody insights: using organ-on-chip technology to study haemorrhagic activities of snake venoms on endothelial tubules"

Mátyás said the following about winning this award: "Just over a week ago, our group of poison researchers (a.k.a. The Venoms & Drugs Group, as our PI Jeroen Kool likes to call us) visited a conference in Paris. The 29th Meeting on Toxinology (SFET RT29) was a great success. All our PhDs had a poster presentation and Julien Slagboom and I were given the opportunity to give a talk.

And to my great joy, my talk was voted 'Best Oral Presentation', which was of course the icing on the cake after a wonderful week in Paris."
