Inbar is an algebraic topologist who specializes in developing and applying tools of homotopy theory motivated by manifold topology. She enjoys working on factorization homology, particularly its applications in stable homotopy theory (including topological Hochschild homology.)
Before moving to Amsterdam, Inbar held postdoctoral positions at EPFL and Columbia University, as well as an endowed postdoctoral fellowship at MSRI. Inbar received her PhD from Stanford University in 2018, supervised by Ralph Cohen.
Outside of work, Inbar's hobbies include hiking, swimming outdoors in the summer, karaoke, and eating chocolate.
