A hacker discovers vulnerability in the ballot counting machine.

There are no signs any damage has been caused.

The hacker who discovered the vulnerability reported it to the Electoral council which reportedly solved the problem.

City councils use the software to count up the results of voting stations. The vulnerable version was for the first time used in 2021.

The leak was discovered in June - now he problem has been solved and won’t play a role on 22 November, during the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Paper ballot  count is the one to be decisive in the end, says Herbert Bos.
