Each year, CICJ’s researchers recruit research assistants for academic research at the Center. Nine students in the MSc programme 'International Crimes, Conflict & Criminology' were selected in the fall of 2022.
The students, who will be working on six different CICJ research projects, are:
- Oscar Monmont, Tara Scholz and Sophie Spil (In or out of control, supervised by Maarten Bolhuis)
- Alexia Manduca (Corporations and international crimes, supervised by Wim Huisman and Annika van Baar)
- Émeline Gosse (Child radicalization in family courts in Western Europe, supervised by Lisette Dirksen)
- Alexa Helberg and Anne-Carien de Buck (The Influence of Culture on Eyewitness Memory, supervised by Gabi de Bruïne)
- Marie-Pier Nyboer-Levac (Conflict-related evidence collection in Ukraine, supervised by Gabriele Chlevickaite)
- Cati Ellwood (Cultural Variables in Eyewitness Evidence at the ICTR, supervised by Dylan Drenk)
