The students of the class of 2020 and members of ACMRL have said their farewells to each other during a final event of the Master's programme in International Migration and Refugee Law.
Traditionally, we officially end every year of the Master's programme with a closing event. We listen to lectures from both professors and students, for instance about the results of the migration law clinics, and we have drinks to celebrate the start of the summer. This year, due to the coronavirus, the closing event took place on Zoom. Various students gave presentations on their expert opinions written for the Master Clinic, IMRL alumnus Asterios Kanavos shared his experiences as a caseworker for the European Asylum Support Office in Lesbos, Greece, and, last but not least, Marcelle Reneman guided us through the Big IMRL Quiz.
