IMRL Alumnus Anna Cleuters wins Case Note Competition

Share
25 May 2020
Anna Cleuters, former student of the IMRL Master program, has won the Migration Law Case Note Competition 2019, organized by the Dutch Migration Law Foundation (Stichting Migratierecht Nederland).

Anna has written a case note on a judgment of the Dutch Council of State from 18 July 2018, ECLI:NL:RVS:2018:2366, which concerned the meaning of the concept of 'family bond' under the Family Reunification Directive. According to the jury, Anna has written a concise case note in which she provided a well-argued legal critique of the judgment. In the beginning of 2020, her case note will be published in the Dutch Journal Jurisprudentie Vreemdelingenrecht. Anna also contributed to the Expert Opinion of the Migration Law Clinic on the same subject.

We at ACMRL warmly congratulates Anna with this fantastic result!
