We are delighted to congratulate Martijn Stronks, who has been selected as one of the new members of the Amsterdam Young Academy.
he Academy is an independent platform where talented young scientists from different disciplines meet to develop views on science, scientific policy and the relation between science and society in Amsterdam. Amsterdam Young Academy is an initiative of the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit and was officially launched in 2018. AYA members are selected every year by deans of faculties of University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam for a period of five years. Martijn Stronks is added as member of the Faculty of Law of the Vrije Universiteit to Marieke de Hoon and Miriam Wijkman who became member of the Academy in the previous year.
